wat happened since last post

oh right..
My digital art skills imrpoved significantly over the months.

Somehow, I'm not doomed for UTAR either.
I'm going to MMU [Multimedia University] for a degree in Film and Animation.
UTAR is totally off, since i didn't pay the deposit by the deadline
Why pay them when i can study wat i want in another uni?
Anyway, my offer letter from MMU isn't here yet, but they say i'm accepted.
I guess they're using snail post -shrugs-

Oh right.. What else is new..
In April, I learnt to make plushies.
At end of April, I started online craft business with my best friend.

Early May, I'm into realistic potrait drawing [the ones with lots of shading involved]

May 06, as in today, I planned to make human form plushies for sale.
Starting with simple coloured famous characters that'll be a hit with buyers.

Alright. That's the general outline of wat happened to me.
I stopped blogging after the blow of not getting to pursue my dreams.
Now that future is looking quite good for me, I'm returning though might not be as active as last time.

chinese new year was on feb 5th
this year, my family except my dad (who wish to remain at home tending to teh dogs)
followed my brother-in-law's family to Genting Highlands
i invited Moon so that i have company at the theme park

for one, the sun changed her skin colour and kinda damaged it too
anyway the temperature there is like, my dream climate~

lol yea it's hard
at the end of jan, i can control my mouse pretty good
as in very good
at february, i learnt a few tips/tricks and methods/techniques for CG
so, my art improved A LOT in just 1 month++

My parents are so attracted to the low tuition fees for Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman(UTAR). Thanks to the prospectus stained with rain water... >_> They are SERIOUSLY considering to send me to UTAR. Fine, i have to face the cruel fact that there's not enough money to support my tuition fees in LKW. Alright... Let's see.. Other than animation, I am interested in Chemistry. Therefore, part of me decided to take Chemical Engineering IF i ever go for UTAR. Done a lot of research today online. And asked a friend to ask his cousin whether Chemical Engineering degree programme is available in KL/PJ campuses. If not, I'll have to go all the way to Kampar,Perak campus for 4 years. Anyway. I'll definitely take the Foundation in Science in PJ/KL campus.

Fees:-
Foundation in Science : RM6'200
Bachelor in Engineering(Hons):Chemical Engineering : RM36'000-RM38'000

5 years in total.

Then i went to a forum i have not visited for a few months.

This morning, I went to the phone shop with parents. I am sticking with the NOKIA brand. And i just want a colour screen. I don't care about other riff-raffs like MP3/ camera/ radio/ etc etc.. Well, i told this to my parents before we went to the shop. And guess what. My mom insist that i choose the one with MP3 and cam which costs RM390. I only like the fact that it's thin, more compact and have colour screen, which is what i'm looking for. The model is NOKIA 2630.

well anyway, stupid me.

short story:- at around 6pm, while boarding train from MidValley train station back to Seremban, my handphone got stolen by a pickpocket. and realised it around 2 minutes after. and confirmed it was stolen by calling my handphone with my friend's. and called Dad to cancel SIM card around 20min after...

lonnnnggg story:- went to MidValley for education exhibition. at around 8.30am, go to meet Klaire and Piggy at railway station. at around 9am, we board train to Midvalley. At around 10.30am, we reached. Then, start to remember the shops and ways to go back to the railway station once we reached inside MidValley giant shopping mall (which have North, West, South, and East AND Centre Courts)..... Then went to ground floor to search for the exhibition for a loonnnggg loonnnnggg time. Then we finally read the map -.-" the exhibition centre is at top floor..... =.=""""" alrighty the most stylo and professional and attractive and outspoken booth is LimKokWing University of Creative Technology. Expected. Anyway, went for a tiringgg shopping (the mall IS big)... Turns out i only bought a top while my friends bought quite er... a lot. And when we board the train, and when we're in the train, i realised my handphone got stolen. Fortunately, my I.C. and cash all is secured with my free hand (the one not holding bags of education prospectus) over the pocket. While my other pocket (which contains the handphone) is.... unguarded. Well, all is done. SIM card got cancelled. He can no longer use up my credits and cannot misuse my phonebook. And, basically it's worthless as he can only sell it not more than RM30 (if anyone wants it) since the model is and olddd one, a not so multi functional one etc etc. but stil, it's my phone -.-"

Moon going to National Service tomorrow (Saturday) for 3 whole months. So i decided to see her today. At her home, i gave her late Christmast and early birthday prezzies. We played badminton, listen to songs, chat bout anything, played guitar, etc etc. Bye Moon reflector of light, i'll miss you~

No more TOA for me.... T^T My family against me going to TOA for Digital Animation course. My mom gave me the green light a few weeks ago. Anyway, they have valid reasons. Since they are spending a bomb on the tuition fees, might as well send me to the best, which is LimKokWing University of Creative Technology. Which is even more expensive than The One Academy. But the fact that LKW has a campus of its own etc, they say it's better to just go LKW and get a degree. And that is only assuming i can get a scholarship/loan in my 2nd yr. The living expenses and stuff they all calculated and showed my mom.. -.-" Obviously, my mom is against me going for that course in that institution immediately. She even suggested that i go for Form6. What? Form6? waste 2 years on form6??? No fucking way, thank you.

My eldest sister came home today. We went shopping for dinner ingredients at Jusco. What??? No more Corianders and strawberries? Then we went to the market, and Family Store. No luck. As final measure, my eldest sister whips out her phone and requested for my 2nd sister's help. Then we went home and prepare dinner. Learnt lots of new stuff today. How to see whether something is fresh, the way to cut and slice different stuff, etc etc. Cooked lots of dishes. Yum.. As usual, my eldest sister loves to exaggerate and experiment with food. I became sous chef (The Sous Chef is the direct assistant of the executive chef and is second in command). Lol.. Anyway, the best part is, the dessert!!!!~~~ Yummy strawberries and marshmallows dipped in melted Belgian chocolate. Mmmmm.... Then my 2nd sister came home with her hubby. We had dinner at 7pm.

Winter Solstice Festival

As early as 2,500 years ago, about the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC), China had determined the point of Winter Solstice by observing movements of the sun with a sundial. It is the earliest of the 24 seasonal division points. The time will be each December 22 or 23 according to the Gregorian calendar.

The Northern hemisphere on this day experiences the shortest daytime and longest nighttime. After the Winter Solstice, days will become longer and longer. As ancient Chinese thought, the yang, or muscular, positive things will become stronger and stronger after this day, so it should be celebrated.

The Winter Solstice became a festival during the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD) and thrived in the Tang and Song dynasties (618-1279). The Han people regarded Winter Solstice as a "Winter Festival", so officials would organize celebrating activities. On this day, both officials and common people would have a rest. The army was stationed in, frontier fortresses closed and business and traveling stopped. Relatives and friends presented to each other delicious food. In the Tang and Song dynasties, the Winter Solstice was a day to offer scarifies to Heaven and ancestors. Emperors would go to suburbs to worship the Heaven; while common people offered sacrifices to their deceased parents or other relatives. The Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) even had the record that "Winter Solstice is as formal as the Spring Festival," showing the great importance attached to this day.

In some parts of Northern China, people eat dumpling soup on this day; while residents of some other places eat dumplings, saying doing so will keep them from frost in the upcoming winter. But in parts of South China, the whole family will get together to have a meal made of red-bean and glutinous rice to drive away ghosts and other evil things. In other places, people also eat tangyuan, a kind of stuffed small dumpling ball made of glutinous rice flour. The Winter Solstice rice dumplings could be used as sacrifices to ancestors, or gifts for friends and relatives. The Taiwan people even keep the custom of offering nine-layer cakes to their ancestors. They make cakes in the shape of chicken, duck, tortoise, pig, cow or sheep with glutinous rice flour and steam them on different layers of a pot. These animals all signify auspiciousness in Chinese tradition. People of the same surname or family clan gather at their ancestral temples to worship their ancestors in age order. After the sacrificial ceremony, there is always a grand banquet.

Today's Piggy's bday. Went to Moon's house at 11.30am. Piggy is already there since 8.45am. Fooled around in Moon's room, then took lots and lotssss of pics. Went through present opening and more foolling around.
At 12.30pm, we all board Moon's mom's car to Jusco. Woohoo~ Turtle and Shasi was already at Jusco since 11.30am. We all meet up at the bowling alley. There goes more present giving. Lol! Shasi and Turtle both gave Piggy christmast presents XD. loool it's her birthday and they're giving christmast stuff. Anyway, looks like i'm the only one who bothered to wrap prezzies. Hmm... Shouldn't have gone the trouble (since it was hard wrapping a irregular-shaped box) Anyway, we hang out in the mall for 1 hr. At 2.20pm, we watched National Treasure:The Book of Secrets. At 3.30pm, we went for some bitez at KFC. More hanging around, then Piggy and I followed Moon back to her house. Moon's mom made some chocolate chip muffins. We insert a candle in one of them and surprise Piggy with a bday song~ Make ur wish bday girl. May your wishes come true~
At her house we watched GossipGirl. The storm ruined it since we have to shut off the pc. >"< At 6.30pm, Piggy went home. As for me, i left Moon's home at 7.30pm. Back at home, i watch a movie i found in Moon's house. Gremlins2. A movie i watched when i was five.. lol XD really an old movie.

A genetically reengineered measlees virus called Krippen Virus or KV, created as a cancer cure, rapidly spreads and wipes out the population of the world by the end of 2009, leaving military virologist Robert Neville (Will Smith) the last human survivor in New York and possibly the world.

The virus killed 90% of the people on the planet, roughly 5.4 billion. Less than 1% of humans are immune, leaving roughly 12 million people unaffected. The remaining 588 million people were infected, but did not die; they instead exhibited early symptoms of rabies and then lost all normal human behavior, degenerating into a primal state driven by hunger and blind rage. Neville is watched by these "Infected" people. The Infected are painfully affected by UV radiation, so they avoid sunlight and hide in the dark underground, and in buildings (in groups called "hives" by Neville), swarming out at night. Dogs and rats are also susceptible to the virus. By 2012, Neville has not seen another normal human being since the virus' release three years earlier, and suspects that the infected have succeeded in killing the remainder of the survivors. Neville finds himself outnumbered by the infected and running out of time as he seeks a cure.

Neville sticks to a strict daily routine that includes exercise, researching a cure, and foraging for food in the city accompanied by Sam, his dog. Each day he waits by the remains of the Brooklyn Bridge at midday, when the sun is at highest point for any survivors who hear his daily radio broadcasts. Neville is haunted by the intense psychological trauma not only of having everyone he ever knew die, but also being completely isolated from all human contact for three years; his only companions are Sam and various department store mannequins he has set up and assigned names to. He has flashbacks of the helicopter carrying his wife and daughter to safety from Manhattan colliding with another helicopter during the chaotic evacuation when Manhattan was placed under military quarantine. Neville is completely immune to KV, whereas Sam is immune to the airborne KV strain, but is still susceptible to direct contact.

Neville eventually comes up with a promising treatment (Compound 6) for the virus in his basement laboratory; it appears to work on an infected rat. He captures and treats an infected woman, but without apparent success. During one of his daily excursions into the city, he is ensnared in a trap. He frees himself just as the sun is disappearing, but he and Sam are attacked by Infected dogs released by the Alpha Male hiding inside Grand Central Terminal. Neville kills the Infected dogs, but not before Sam is bitten by one. He takes Sam home and attempts to cure her with an injection of Compound 6, but is forced to put her down when she begins to quickly transform into one of the Infected. In his despair, he suicidally attacks a large group of Infected with his car late at night, but is rescued by a pair of survivors — Anna from San Paolo, and a boy named Ethan— who bring him back to his fortified home. Anna and Ethan, both immune like Neville, survived the chaos aboard a evacuation ship. Anna tells Neville they came all the way from Maryland after hearing his broadcasts. She tells him about a survivor colony in Bethel, Vermont, saying that God sent her to Neville to bring him to the colony. Neville refuses to believe her, telling her that everyone is dead.

That night, hordes of the Infected, who have followed Anna and Ethan to Neville's home the previous night, attack the house and overrun its defenses. Neville, Anna, and Ethan retreat into the laboratory, sealing themselves in with the Infected woman Neville was experimenting on last. They discover the last treatment has been successful; the key component was lowering body temperature, which Neville believed could give a boost to the serum. Neville quickly draws blood from the patient and gives the vial to Anna, telling her it contains the cure. He then pushes Anna and Ethan into a coal chute. Neville sacrifices himself just as the leader of the Infected breaks through, killing both with a hand grenade.

Anna and Ethan escape to Vermont and locate the fortified survivors' colony. Anna gives the cure to the guards. In the voice over, she states that Neville's cure enabled humanity to survive and rebuild, establishing his legend.

The movie is kinda like Resident Evil to me. However, this movie has it's unique points. It's sad that Neville has lost contact with any human for 3 years. He tries to find a survivor, anyone, to come forward and meet him at the Brooklyn Bridge every midday.

The saddest part (for me) was when the dog, Sam died.. T^T Sam has been a great companion and the only companion to Neville. And she was attacked while trying to protect her master from being harmed by the Infected. At his lab, Neville injected Sam with Compound 6, wishing desperately for it to work. He even hug the dog and sang to comfort her... Touche T^T

Happy Birthday Klaire!

Today is Klaire's bday. At 11am, i reached Jusco, Seremban2. Planned to meet at Speedy. Because it's one of the places we can actually hang around without buying anything and wait for friends. Went to Speedy and as expected, i'm the first to arrive. They're so not punctual. Anyway, bday girl reached after 20 min. Then another 2 arrived. First, we bought tickets for a movie. My treat to the movie "I Am Legend". Then we went to have pizza at Pizza Hut. Yummy had Thai Seafood and Hawaiian Chicken. Not a fan of Thai food, myself. Then we hanged out in the mall till 2pm. Tweety got some caramel popcorns. The movie was great. It's great. It's a little like Resident Evil, but there's more to it. Anyway, will talk bout the movie in the next post. After the movie ended at about 2.50pm, we went to Secret Recipe (a cake shop) and Tweety and Donald bought slices of chocolate cakes and sang Klaire the bday song. ^_^ At last, we all went our separate ways. The celebration was a small one, but it's a success.

Today went out with Piggy and Moon. i went to Piggy's house at 1.15pm and then we walked to Terminal One(T1) at 2.10pm. At the same time we arrived, Moon is ALSO walking towards T1. Then we 3 go shop around the mall. Didn't really find anything i like except a packet of PASTA! Lol XD. Bumped into Moon's mom and sister shopping too. Well, basically, we had a great time. XD Then, at 5pm, Moon's mom drove Piggy home and I followed Moon to her home. At Moon's home, i learnt a beading thing. Really nice. It's not done yet, so i don't want to post a pic XD. Basically, i went to Moon's house because at the same time, a cleaning company send 2 bangladesh GUYS to my home. =.=" So, I seek refuge at Moon's home for my comfort. They both will go on a trip to Langkawi Island tomorrow. I'm not going because of a number of factors. Therefore,

Yuki Kajiura-My Current Craze

Kajiura Yuki is such a great composer. I discovered her today after watching a tutorial vid for digital painting. She is given credit at the sidebar by the poster. So i googled her and such. Then, i found out that she compose songs for anime s. i was like, "this must be my lucky day". Because i know a site to download free anime songs. So, i began searching for her songs. and there pops out numerous songs composed by her. In various famous anime like Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Mai-Hime, Noir, etc etc. I'm in awe over her right now. Her song, especially Mezame, is so good it made me cry.

It's Sunday~ Thought my friends finished lazying at home, i asked them to go out again. Ahhhh.. I forgot one of them have family reunions every Sunday in the next state. And one of them have to go to church. And the other having a family outing somewhere. And the list goes on~ XD
Alright we set up a date to hang out it's Monday ^_~ Hope it goes well without any last-minute interruptions.

Yay~! My mom finally allow me to study in an arts academy. I want to study Digital Animation in The One Academy. ^_^ This happened after i helped her to do something. Let me recap on what happened before this when i mentioned i want to study arts.

lol today tsu (not real name) and i researching on the best free MMORPG. I found a list online on free MMORPGs. Lol since we both played some games, we exchange opinions and comments on each game. I played Silkroad online, Gunz The Duel, etc etc before. She more than me XD ; Rakion, Maple Story, Flyff, etc etc. The best game is Granado Espada but it's 3.5GB too long to download. At last, we settled on MUonline. But after finsh downloading, i can't play it. i need to install the latest graphics card driver. Anyway, before i download MU, i have downloaded 9Dragons. Tsu is quite keen on the game after visiting the main site and seeing the screenshots i took. So, she decided to download 9Dragons too.

My sister (the one married 11/11) and her hubby came home to Seremban today. They going to go to China for their honeymoon. lol XD. Anyway, today i studied add maths. Then i play 9Dragons. (going to talk bout 9Dragons in more detail later)

lol today play LegacyGamers Gunz. The graphics are way better than Ijji Gunz. And in LG, you get to buy all the stuff free. And the best part is that, these stuff, if you play in ijji you have to pay real money to buy them. But Ijji have thousands of players at a time while LG only got hundreds. So, there's limited nice rooms. And less players.

Today got Bahasa Melayu paper 1 & 2.
Bm hm... typical. just answer like normal. Not too hard not too easy.
Followed by Sejarah paper 1.
Only got about 5 differences compared to my friend's paper.

Day 2
Left my stationaries on my desk. Remembered about it just as i reached the schoolgate.
Borrowed from a few friends. English paper 1 and 2 today, and Sejarah paper 2.
For English paper1, which i'm very good at the essays questions, i screwed up at question2.
For some reason, I wrote a story halfway, then all my inspirations gone. poof! I cancelled the page, and start a new story with only 30 minutes left. =.=" I finished it in a way, but it's not the best essay that i wrote. Someone who got an award for international essay comp today screwed the essay part. Who? Me. -.-""" Why for BM there's 2 hrs 15 min aloccated for ppr1 while for English only 1hr 45min??? Same number of questions, same number of words required. Damnit.. Anyway, I already got an A1 in my grasp for English. I did really good in ppr2 to make up for the marks i lost in ppr1. For Sejarah ppr2, no comment. Every candidates i know and asked said the same thing. Crap. =.=" Stupid ppl set stupid questions. The ppr sucked. Well, the only hope for all of us is that all of us can't score well and this lowers the marking standard.

Today got Modern Mathematics. Basically, another A1 in grasp.
though i did made few mistakes here and there. and maybe a few more carelessly.

Wedding

Today morning at about 5.30am, i got woken up by my mom. My sisters too. The bride waited for the make-up artist while her girlfriends doing preparations for tricks for the guys (the bridegroom and his friends). Lol. The tricks includes making one of them eat a sandwich filled with wasabi and chilli! O.o Then another one is 3 pairs of use-and-throw panties which they draw on each of them, I LOVE U. there's also the Coke trick. Out of the 3 cans, 2 of the cans are filled with soy sauce mixed with chicken essence (yuck!). Then the bridegroom have to sing a song with teh theme LOVE. Lol at 8.30am, they're negotiating for the price to let the guys in the front gate (an old tradisional game the girls play on the guys). Lol the starting price offered by the guys was RM1.90. (so cheap!) lol then they negotiate sooo long till the price went up into RM100++. Not yet over, the bridegroom have to find one of the bride's shoe hidden outside the room and helps her put it on. (awww~~ a Cinderella scene) Then the tea ceremony and stuff tradisional etc is carried out. Then at 11am, My family and I (except the bride and bridegroom) and friends of my parents ride a van to Kuala Lumpur. I brought along my Sejarah (History) textbook to read.... >.< (exam tomorrow!!) Then we reached TaiThong Restaurant at Ampang area near KLCC. The thing started at 1.30pm. ended at4pm. i reached home at 5pm. Now, have to resume studies -.-" My friends and I haven't finish Sejarah (damn)

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
is the final major exam for malaysia national high school students. This year, it's starting at 12th Nov. Which is 2 days after this -.-" I'm trying to finish all the chapters for Sejarah (History). Tomorrow it's my sister's wedding at the bridegroom's town, Kuala Lumpur. And tonight, there'll be a party at my house in Seremban. Tomorrow morning, the friends of the bride will play tricks at the bridegroom's friends. Then at afternoon, everyone'll go to Kuala Lumpur for the wedding celebration lunch. which means i won't have time to study till tomorrow night. -.-" Die la SPM. Out of 10 chapters in form 4 Sejarah (History), there's 5 chapters about Islam. What the heck. So far i got 3 more chapters to study. Then i'll be done with Sejarah (History).

Phew what a hectic day. Today is my sister's wedding in our side of the family's town, Seremban. Early morning, we woke up to get ready. We're supposed to reach the restaurant at 11am. My mom and I went to the hair saloon. My 2 sisters stay at home preparing and stuff. A make-up artist is there to help the bride. Anyway, my hairstyle is changed, eyebrows neatly tidied up. My mom got her hair curled and in a great updo. At 10am, My mom and I went back home to changed into our gowns and do our make-up. Near 11am, evryone's rushing. Naturally, all the men is waiting patiently downstairs. I'm ready since 10.30am, but i still have to help out upstairs anyway. Well, as usual, all the men waiting all this while is pleasantly surprised when all the females come down. Well, we reached ther restaurant at around 11.30am. Then straight to work. Entertaining guests, etc. By the time the dishes are brought out, most of us are already sweating. Lots of old faces appear. Most of them i can barely remember as i was stil a little child whne i met them. It ended at around 3pm. Then, again, have to stand outside under the hot sun. Lol.. At last, at 3.40pm, we reached home, and that's not even the end of it. There're guests at home soon after. But i stayed upstairs with the bride and bridegroom.

This weekend my sisters came back to Seremban (they work in Kuala Lumpur). My brother-in-law too came to Seremban. It's been so long since i saw my eldest sister. Her haircut (which costed RM700+) is.. not bad. I like the highlights anyway. Lol the hairstylist once styled celebrities' hair. Eg. Victoria Beckham, etc etc.. YAY! holidays for a week. But it'll be spent revising for exam.... Well, and playing game too. lol XD. I can't help myself. Too addicted to internet. My conenction is so bad i have to play the same game all year. With my crappy connection i couldn't download new ones. >_<

Silkroad is a fun game when you meet lots of other players and befriend with them. But overall, the game is too repetitive. Nothing is special about the game. But it's addictive. Well, when you get to lvl 20m you get to choose a job. (Trader, Hunter, Thief) Traders get attacked by thieves and protected by hunters. Hunters protect traders and get attacked by thieves. Thieves steal from traders and get atttacked by hunters.

Anyway, the game have tons of servers because there're so many players. However the servers are often overcrowded. Mostly it's caused by botters. They use programmes to bot (robot) to help them lvl while they're not in front of the screen. Silkroad is filled with them. >_< All the server traffic caused by them and most of them have silks (you pay real money for them) and buy premium tickets for access into the game even if there's server traffic. This is why i HATE them. Damn botters -.-"

Currently i'm trying for the 57th time to log into the game.

I looked forward to the ending episode of One Litre of Tears today... Why it's cancelled??~ sigh* Because of a lousy festive season concert i have to wait one more week for the ending of the best j-drama ever. T.T

Well, Selamat Hari Raya wishes to the Muslims. Hope you all have an enjoyable festive season.

One family have to endure the festive season with the death of their 3 sons on the eve of Hari Raya. They perished when the currents of the river was too swift and drowned them. My condolences.

And to 3 villages that was flooded yesterday due to the heavy rain. Instead of celebrating, they have to clean up the mess left behind by the flood. *shrug* Bad luck. I understands how it feels to clean up the house because of flood, especially during festive season. Because i once lived in an area near a river which ALWAYS flooded.. -.-"

Resident Evil: Extinction

This movie rocks! Resident Evil: Extinction is a great sequel to Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Today i watch RE:Extinction. Alice (starred by Milla Jovovich) the lead character, is so AWESOME.
In RE:Extinction, she travels alone in the desert wastelands of the remains of the country after learning that the corporation has the ability to track her location via satellite.

Meanwhile, Claire Redfield's (Ali Carter) convoy, which includes fellow Raccoon survivors Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr) and L.J. (Mike Epps), along with new survivors , K-Mart (Spencer Locke), Mikey (Egan) and Nurse Betty (Ashanti), search a small motel for supplies.

The Zombies in this movie are scarier, darker elements compared to the ones in RE:Apocalypse. there's one part where a guy got bitten and eaten by a horde of zombies. ouch >_<

There's one part where a horde of crows attack them. Thousands of crows just came soaring down tearing at every bit of flesh they can reach. The touching part in this scene is when a few of them sacrificed themselves in order to keep the others alive. Alice appears and uses her telekinetic powers to incinerate the flock by covering the sky in flame from a nearby flamethrower.

The remaining members of the convoy head towards the Umbrella facility, but they find it surrounded by thousands of zombies. Carlos believes the infection inside himself has gone beyond a cure, and thus sacrifices himself for the convoy. He detonates some dynamite and, after the explosion, the group moves in through the opening made by Carlos's sacrifice.

The convoy escapes on a chopper while Alice stayed behind. She found clones of herself in the facility. Isaac has mutilated and attacks Alice. He's killed at last by the laser beams. Standing beside the clone of herself, Alice looks onto the rows of pods containing the other clones, their numbers in the hundreds. The movie ends as all the other clones begin to wake up.

After i watched the 3rd installment of Resident Evil movies, I watched my vcd for 2nd installment RE:Apocalypse again. i couldn't get enough of RE. It rocks the max!

Today's tests were a waste of time, really. Anyway, one good news that the school received today was that we won the School Excellence Award!!! Woohoo~ yea whatever. but stil it's our sweat and blood *blood??* O.o The school received RM100'000 for development of the school etc, RM150'000 for evryone in the school to chare so they'll organise a trip for the WHOLE school to KL *how's the place going to fit us all, I wonder?* while the teachers have their own destinations *Figures..* and ONE of them is Langkawi island!!!! What the @#$%?! *cough cough* it's so unfair. (;_;) Anyway, the school's vision "Excellence by the year 2008" changed since we achieved it one year earlier. *applause*

Today i rummage around the shelf for VCDs. then i found myself an old one that i've never watched before. Dante's Peak.

The movie opens with standard scene in which we are shown Brosnan's character in the midst of a volcanic eruption somewhere in the distant corner of the world. we are introduced to his loved one who he was going to marry but is quickly disposed of by a falling lava rock through the roof of his car. This adds to his bitterness towards volcanoes and his mission to correctly seek out and warn others.

Flash forward a few years later and we see that Brosnan is now alerted to the possibility of an eruption in a small town of Dante, recently voted one of the best places to live in the US. After performing a routine investigation of the town, he turns up several indications that an eruption is imminent.

In order to get the town on evacuation alert, he has to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the volcano is active. Thus the team of scientists arrive with all of their gear.

Naturally, the only person who believes him is Rachael Wando, a gorgeous mayor with two kids from a failed marriage.

Just as Brosnan predicts, the town experiences some minor quakes which sends the town into a total state of panic. Chaos ensues as the town attempts to evacuate before the volcano blows and spews lava.

the kids try to save their stubborn grandmother from dying at the mountains near the volcano with the elder son driving a car (he's only like 10?) This is when the action starts. harry and rachael drove up the mountains (when others are going down, obviously). This is a fight for survival.

Anyway, during the movie i paid so much attention to the characters and the disasters that i didn't realise that there's a thunderstorm in my town. and with all the sound effects from the movie, i didn't realise that a REAL thunderstorm is happening until the movie ended. O_o after switching off important eletrical appliances and puling out plugs etc, there's a blackout. >_< lol i as home alone and stuff. so i went to get candles etc. after the lightning stopped, i went to check the electric box and flicked the switch and tadaa~ lights back on. ^_^ Resume doing past year exam papers~ watched johnny depp's interview in "Close Up" then online! lol XD

Today watch 2nd last episode of "One Litre Of Tears" aired on 8TV at 6pm. I'm so touched (T_T) the tears just keep flowing. After the show finished my cousin sister and i look at each other for a moment. Then both of us burst out laughing because we both cried during the show. hahahaha XD my mom went to Penang last night. She's coming home on Sunday. sigh~~~~ One Litre Of Tears is such a great drama series.

Last night, i had the wildest and most bizarre dream. Almost evryone i know was in the dream. It's like a blend of truth and wishful thinkings in my conscious state. The dream seemed so real. It's like an adventure in my sleep. Everyone in the dream behaved like they always do in real life. I couldn't remember most of the dream. But it left a lasting feeling that it meant something. When i woke up, i realised that i've been crying in my sleep. lol XD. I wonder what reduced me to tears. hmm..

One Litre of Tears

I came across a Japanese drama called “One litre of tears”. The title says it all!
Get your handkerchief and tissues ready T_T
what really moved me in “One litre of tears” is that this drama is based on a true story.

It is about a girl who was diagnosed with a disease called spinocerebellar degeneration when she was 15 years old. She was able to continue her life until her death at the age of 25. She kept writing in her diary to remember her experiences until she could no longer hold a pen. Her name was Aya Ikeuchi. Aya simply wished to live until the end of her life, and the purpose of writing in the diary was to remind herself to not give up.

Her diary “One litre of tears” was published after her death because of its inspiring and courageous message of, “Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing.”

This is the story..

Aya is an ordinary girl, the daughter of a family who works part time at her dad’s tofu shop, and a local high school student. However, as Aya went through life that year, odd things began happening to her. She has been falling down, having a hard time performing simple tasks, and generally lacking in coordination. Her mother, Shioka, takes her for a check-up. After several tests, the doctor informs Shioka that her daughter has a degenerative disease known as Spinocerebellar atrophy, where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates. There will come a point where Aya will not even be able to move or speak, and finally ending in a vegetative state.

Aya’s life to this point has treated her very fairly, being the star basketball player in her school and the class representative for her grade.

This is the actress who played Aya in “One litre of tears”, Erika Sawajiri.

This is Aya Kito as she was in real life.

In almost every episode I watched, I had tears in my eyes.

On 14th of july, around 2pm cindy and I went to the train station. It took around 3 hours to reach shah alam.......tiring-.-"".... Then took a cab to the sports complex.Well, around 4.30 we reach stadium matsushita. We saw many people wearing yukata and kimono. Hmm... not many actually. Lolz XD. I guess some of them are jap. Heard them talkin in jap. At the entrance we got a fan. ^_^ I wanted to meet my forum frens and one of them is Nick. Taller than i expected. Oh well.. Lol XD. He's funny and really good-humoured. Then i met a few other people from the forum. Satan, Panda, etc.. Cindy became the cameragal :)

The food some of the stalls are seriously expensive. 2 pieces of sushi costs rm6. I like one particular stall selling bowls of blended ice with flavoued lime and ?? syrups and stuff. Real tasty and refreshing. Cindy bought light sticks that flashes different colour for me and herself. When the ceremony starts.

There was drum and dance performance. Everyone formed a circle and dance along. Cindy then went to sit in the stands. =P hehe..forgot to mention one group of people hitting each others' head all the time..-.-"" so disrespectful. At around 8.3-0pm, there were cultural performances by local students and japanese performers. I snapped plenty of pics that day but couldn't share all of them here. ^_^

I was trying to fix it, checking the connections of the wires etc
It was a 3-in-1 deskjet (printer, scanner, copier)
the scanner is working miraculourly but not the printer
then someone suggest that i uninstall it
I didnt't do that til when I'm almost out of ideas
then I uninstall it and guess wat?
I DON'T HAVE THE INSTALLATION CD-ROM!!!
I searched everywhere for it
"i'm done for," I thought.
not many people have the original document so they can't edit teh blank one for me
"how am I going to ask for help?"
ah-ha!
I phoned cindy and she don't have the original document
okayy.. her internet facing problems of frequent DC
arrgghh i'm doomed.. ><;
then miraculously, she succeeded in coming online
YAY!
so i sent her the scanned copy of the original document
my saviour~~~~~
thx a lot cindy (muaks* <3)
so, problem solved and i can finally sleep..

gotta fix the bloody printer tomorrow

Commonwealth Essay Competition
Yea... i didn't win or become the runner-up
BUT i get the award "Highly Commended"

the title that i have chosen was "The Bargain"
and i wrote about~
The Bargain With The Devil
hehehehe cool huh?

This story revolves around the beauty of the cherry blossoms
which leaves a lasting impression on one's mind
eventhough they only lasts for a short time
i wrote about a guy (Kyo) with brain tumour who met a girl (Sakura)at the hospital
Sakura is very encouraging and optimistic
then one day Kyo fell into a coma
Kyo was in a critical condition and might not be able to wake up ever again
Sakura met the Devil at the garden
the Devil convinced Sakura to a bargain with him
She exchanged half of her life for Kyo's and replaced her body with Kyo's to suffer his illness
Kyo's tumour was completely gone, unable to be explained by the doctors
he saw Sakura in coma being rushed into the hospital
at the playground, Kyo met the Devil
after finding out that Sakura sacrificed so much for him, Kyo made a bargain with the Devil
he sacrificed his soul in order to save Sakura
and was branded the Seal of the Devil
Sakura gained consciousness and ran to the playground
She begged the Devil to return Kyo's soul to him
the Devil couldn't do that even if he wanted to because of the cursed Seal
Sakura then begged the Devil to take her soul too,
so she could be with Kyo for eternity, even if it is in the Underworld...
the Devil took Sakura's soul
He turned Kyo's and Sakura's soul into the most beautiful cherry blossom tree in japan
people walking past the tree will
stop and admire it's beauty.

I couldn't believe that i get the award..

Today went to a boutique to buy nightgowns for my sister's wedding.
It turns out that my mom do most of the shopping.
all the nightgowns there are so "aunty". -.-"

but they ARE gorgeous, i admit.
there's one lilac nightgown that i was really keen on.
it's soooo gorgeous =D
the top part of the gown is decorated with sequins.
the handwork is really magnificent.
the bottom part of the skirt is asymmetrical.
it just drape effortlessly, it is flowy and just so gorgeous
that i coudn't explain how beautiful it is.
there's a lilac scarve to complete the whole look.
and guess the price,
RM600!!!!!!! O.o

i was like,
"Oh. My. God." O_o
"it's so freaking expensive".
lol XD.

well, at the end of the day, my mom bought 2 nightgowns.
one in white and one in red.
they're.... not bad =P
but my favourite is the lilac one ^_^

sigh....

wish i can own that one...

Today i picked up the latest issue of CLEO,
a great magazine published monthly.
this month an article on blogging attracted my attention.
fascinated by the wonders of blogging,
i started one of my own here.
